Measuring InfinityPutting love into words and expecting to capture the entirety of its essence on a page is like scooping up part of the ocean in a pint glass and expecting your sample to properly represent the epic scale and magnitude of shifting tides, roaring waves and a refreshing sea breeze. Challenging yet frustrating, inspired yet insane, and if you ever manage to achieve it everyone who witnesses it can only stare in disbelief, their own opinions and beliefs shapeshifting right behind their eyes.   
It seems to define human nature: the desire to take everything that is immense and complex and beautiful and incomprehensible, and capture it and Measuring Infinity

...or 2009 and a quarter, for those in places that have yet to convert to decimal.
Yeah, time keeps doing that lately. Last thing I know I'm saying "Woo, nearly 2009", now we've actually lived through a whole quarter of the year.

To be fair though, it's easy for time to fly with so much going on. I did lose my job last week, but on the plus side I've been accepted into the university I wanted to get into for September, so it's not like I was relying on my job to be a long-term one. I'm going back to education in order to study computer science and get myself into programming. Wahey!

I've got another piece of writing to put up from 2008 still, so I'll get on that soon and hopefully get something new written whenever the mood strikes... I'm feeling inspired to try some new subject matter and styles, throw in a little variety. I'll see how that goes :D
